Just before the new academic year, the August teacher meetings are traditionally held. So this year, within the framework of the 3rd Kyiv Educational Forum “New Ukrainian School: The Space of Opportunities”, Svitlana Vasylenko, Deputy Head on the Content and Research of IT in Education Laboratory, led teachers workshops. She presented the main ideas of the project “Modernization of Pedagogical Higher Education by Innovative Teaching Instruments” (MoPED) of the EU program Erasmus + KA2 – Development of Higher Education Capacity, No. 586098-EPP-1-2017-1-UA-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP. Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University is a member of this project. Svitlana Vasylenko presented training materials for Storytelling with the aim to involve teachers in trainings on the development of digital competence.
Meetings were held for chemistry teachers on August 27 at the Methodological Conference “Chemical Education in the New Ukrainian School” traditionally at Lyceum №100 “Podil” and August 28 at the Methodological Conference for Biology and the Basics of Health Teachers “Biological Education 2019-2020: Features and Perspectives” were held at the Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth.
During the workshop, participants set up group video-interviews with the help of one of the presented Office Mix’s tools as a discussion of the feasibility of using the Storytelling method during the teaching process of secondary school students.
