On August 27-28th, 2019 the training courses were held within the framework of the project “Modernization of Pedagogical Higher Education through the Use of Innovative Teaching Instruments” (MoPED) of the EU program Erasmus + KA2 – Development of Higher Education Capacity, No. 586098-EPP-1-2017-1-UA-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP.
The content of the trainings on introduction of innovative technologies in education contained “IBL (Inquary Based Learning) and Development of Critical Thinking in STEM Education” and “Digital Skills: Creating Training Video and Infographics”. The trainer was Vorotnykova I., associate professor of Department of methodology of natural and mathematical education and technology, In-service Teacher Training Institute, PhD in Pedagogy.
Teachers of mathematics, computer science, Ukrainian language, geography, biology and English participated in the trainings. During the trainings participants discussed and demonstrated critical thinking skills based on their own professional experience and on the example of solving problems, approaches to forming critical thinking based on the formulation of questions and queries, conducting research through the Go-Lab platform, creating mind maps, infographic materials for lessons, educational videos, including interactive ones. During the reflection the teachers shared their impressions and thoughts on how to apply the acquired knowledge and skills into their own professional activity.
