The training “Storytelling in Educational Process” for Kyiv school teachers was held at the Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University on April 16, 2019. This training was presented within the framework of the project “Modernization of Pedagogical Higher Education by Innovative Teaching Instruments” (MoPED) of the EU program Erasmus + KA2 – Development of Higher Education Capacity, No. 586098-EPP-1-2017-1-UA-EPPKA2-
CBHE-JP by Nataliia Morze – Vice-Rector on Informational Technologies, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine – Project Manager and by Svitlana Vasylenko – Deputy Head on the Content and Research of IT in Education Laboratory of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University. The facilitators of the training adapted and presented the materials of the training seminars, which took place in the European Universities.
At the training, the participants got acquainted with the definition “storytelling”, analysed the main goals and functions of storytelling, created their own digital history, learned about the use of comics in educational activities and learned how to create and work with electronic resources.
The participants responded: “All activities were useful and informative. We have demonstrated innovative methods and technologies for organizing work with students, shared interesting educational resources for developing the skills of the 21st century and modernizing the educational process”.
