The training «Methodology of using Inquiry Based Learning technology in elementary school» was held at the Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University on September 19, 2018. This training was presented by Viktoriia Vember, PhD, Associated Professor of Computer Science and Mathematics Department, a participant of the international project «Modernization of pedagogical higher education by innovative teaching instruments» (MoPED) of the EU program Erasmus + KA2 – Development of Higher Education Capacity, No. 586098-EPP-1-2017-1-UA-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP. V.Vember adapted and presented the materials of the Workshop “Collaboration to create research spaces for knowledge in the Go-Lab ecosystem”.
As part of the training, students learned about the model of the implementation of Inquiry Based Learning and resources for its support: the Go-Lab portal and the platform Graasp for creating Inquiry Learning Spaces. Students reviewed the methodology of using Inquiry Based Learning technology at elementary school using Inquiry Learning Spaces (ILS), features of creating ILS for elementary school students using the Graasp platform apps, in particular, they became familiar with the pear evaluation features with the Questions Scratchpad and Peer Assessment Tool.
